Art Deco Lace background

Hi everyone, Tina here with a layout I created using the Art Deco Lace Ornamental die to create a striking background effect.

Cut seven diecuts using the Art Deco Lace die.  Lay six of the diecuts on a background of cardstock, with the pattern running the same direction.  Trim the overlapping straight edges so your page looks like the example below.  Adhere to the background.

Adhere the seventh diecut to create a pattern by offsetting it.  As you can see there are numerous patterns that can be created.

Emboss Imaginarium Designs Alphabet letters using Velvet Tea Lights embossing folder, then paint the letters with desired colour.

I cut up Imaginarium Designs "Funny Face" to complete my title "Poker Face" which was the name of my daughters dance.  Add a few embellishments, sequins, and you are done.

Couture Creations Design Team layout for August

Hi everyone.
Tina here, with a layout to share.
I created this layout using the Couture Creations Damask Delight paper.  I trimmed 2 cm from the top and one side of one of the papers, and adhered it to the base sheet.  My photo was first sanded, then inked.  A Fancy Frame was cut from black Core'dinations cardstock.

I created a subtle textured effect by heat embossing, then dripping some paint mediums on the lower part of my background.  The top part was misted with Docrafts Artiste spritzing ink.

I cut two of the Roses die, which were then heat embossed.  The Simplicity Borders was diecut from Core'dinations Gemstones cardstock, which has a gorgeous shimmer.
