Smile!

My entry for the "Keeping-the-best" challenge this month!  I loved their sketch so stuck pretty closely to the original design.  They have some amazing examples and entries on their blog , so make sure you have a look at all the eye-candy!

I've used chipboard and stencil by Twiddleybitz.

Twiddleybitz and 7 Dots Studio

This is one of my favorite layouts, using 7 Dots Studio paper and Twiddleybitz chipboard and stencils.  I made the heart embellishment myself.

I hid my journalling, which tell of how proud I am of my daughter's achievements in her last year of Primary school.  This allowed my extra room to write, without taking away from the design of the layout.

Thanks for looking, I'd love you to leave me a comment to say hello!

"Black with two" challenge entry

Wow....my second blog post for the day!   I'm enjoying doing these challenges as I'm getting my layouts completed relatively quickly.  I'm normally one of those scrappers who has a project sitting on the desk all week, moving stuff around till I ,get everything where I want it ... and then I have to stick it all down!
Anyways...here's my entry for the Black With Two challenge for Feb.   The challenge for this month is... DOMINANT BLACK WITH BLUE AND YELLOW +5% WHITE .

And here's my layout....

I'd  been wanting to scrap these candid pics taken at Christmas for a few years!

Of course I had to use some Twiddleybitz chippy and stencils on it.  Just for fun, I doodled some spots on the letters with my new "Picket Fence" distress marker.

Thanks for looking,
Tina

Twiddleybitz and "White With One"

I used Twiddleybitz Chicken-wire stencil to create my background layer.  The numbers are from Twiddleybitz "Itty Bitty" alphabet.

I made the heart embellishment myself (thanks to the very talented Sharon Pick), and then adhered it with Impasto, before spraying everything with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays and Dylusions.
I used the Twiddleybitz "Hanging Lantern Plate" to frame my journalling.  I first covered it in "True Snow", then spritzed it with some mists.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy scrapping,
Tina

Altered blossums and overlays

My latest creation using Twiddleybitz chipboard.  I used one of the Inscribed Keys, a couple of Fairy Blossums, and  a Diamond Single Photo Overlay.  I'm entering it in the Southern Girls Challenge for February, which is to use "bling".   I've used gold Stickles, and shimmery Lindy's Stamp Gang mists on my chipboard flowers, lots of pearls, rhinestones on the flower and title, and there's gold specks in the embossing powder.

A Prima flower and chipboard Fairy Blossum.

I love how the Fairy Blossums turned out when I altered them.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy scrapping,
Tina
