Love those sketches!

Here's my entry for the sketch challenge at Let's Capture Those Sketches.

Love the sketch by Crafty Ness!

And here's my take on it.....

I used Words Or Whatever "Decorative Fence" and "Alchemy Blooms", which I painted with Moon Shadow Ink (Smoky Sapphire).

Awesome WOW chippy, and a class sneak peak

Okay, here's an unusual one for me....a BOY layout!  Not that I don't enjoy creating them, I just have a lack of boy photos.  (I had to pinch these photos from my cousin!)

I painted the chipboard white first to get nice vibrant colours.  Then I used watercolours on the Words Or Whatever Awesome title and Boy (baseball and soccer) chippy.

Here's a sneak peak of the class I'm teaching for Christmas Club at Greenbank Scrapbook Shop this Saturday morning.  We are making Christmas cards in the afternoon using the gorgeous new Teresa Collins range.  There's still a few spots available in both classes, so call to book on 3200 1832.

More WOW layouts

This layout uses Words or Whatever title, and Ornate Hanging Sign which I altered to create the feel of a garden arch or arbour.  This layout has lots of subtle sparkle, and texture which I created using Tattered Angel Glimmer Screens, and lots of mixed media.

And a quick, fun double page spread...

And a sneak peak of one of the classes I will be teaching at the scrapbooking retreat with Greenbank Scrapbook Shop in January.

Creating with Words Or Whatever

Hi there,  Thought I'd post a few pics of some design team projects for Words Or Whatever.  I love using this chippy, because no matter what I do to it, (think misting, paints, embossing, inks, etc) it doesn't warp  or curl like some chipboard does.

I've actually split the petals of the Petite Blooms after wetting them to give a layered three-dimensional look.  I painted them white first to give a clean, bright blue colour once I painted with Twinkling H2Os.  I added German Glass glitter to the edges and a blue glitter to the centres.

I actually journalled...are you proud of me?  (I do try and include journalling on my layouts, but usually hide it in a little pocket or tucked behind something.)  I knew I needed the story behind the photos to be on show with this layout.
I covered the pink Prima flower with Helmar 450 adhesive and when it dried it gave a wonderful sparkly, crystalline effect.  These blooms were layered with metal, chipboard, a hand-dyed crochet doiley, paper and silk flowers.

Sneaky peak

Hi everyone, ....yes I'm still alive!  I've been a bad, bad blogger and neglected you all.  I have been busy with work, the kids, and of course creating some layouts and OTP stuff.  I promise I'll start loading it all up for you to see.
Here's a sneak peak of my latest LO for WOW chipboard.  It was lots of fun to create.

Pop over to the Words Or Whatever  blog to see all the details.
